Volta Redonda is one of the main cities of Rio de Janeiro. It is also the cradle of industrialization in Brazil and main city of the Médio Paraíba Fluminense.

Volta Redonda has invested a lot in sport and leisure infrastructure, trying to offer a better quality of life to its population, having:

• Paddle and tennis court



Dozens of sport and leisure activities in 31 neighborhoods give assistance to more than 12.000 elderly. Every year, the regular contestants are gifted with a trip to different tour routes. At Carnival, the parade of Bloco da Vida (Team of Life) is held, with more than 1.500 participants.


In partnership with the Federal Government through the Sport Department, it serves more than 9.000 children and teenagers in extracurricular sport activities.


The greatest national sport event leaned to disabled people. They are more than 3.000 athletes from different Brazilian districts taking part in more than 15 sport modalities.


The athlete space focuses on receiving ex-athletes of our country. Through the partnership with federal and state government, we are going to construct a building in the center of town so that we can take care of those that are in need of housing, health treatment, among other cares, promoting the citizenship rescue.
